On time. Explained price, and why the cost. Tried to clear the drain with a router, to much damage. Replaced 15 feet of damaged pipe in the basement in half a day, and cleaned up. Great job.

Very professional installation of a baseboard heater. Reviewed several different options of where to place the heater and where to place the cable to cause the least disruption.

Trevor and Hoover Electric and Plumbing replaced my entire Sewer line and lined the outside pipe. Everyone was very professional, polite did a fantastic job. They showed up on time and did a great clean up job!

He looked at the project gave us a quote, we excepted the quote and he completed the job. Hevalso did a whole house inspection at no cost to us. We have additional things that we would like to have done at a later time and he gave us a quote for that as well. We will definitely be calling him back. I highly recommend him.

Blake came out and did a furnace tune-up for me. I really wanted my house humidifier to work and he was able to get that going. He was friendly and thorough and took the time to teach me a few maintenance tips that will keep my furnace and humidifier running efficiently. I'd give him and Hoover 10 stars if that was an option. I highly recommend them both.

Hoover is great, my husband and I bought our 1st home in 2021 and we learned pretty quickly when you own a home just about anything could happen. We recently had Kyle G. Come over to give us an estimate on a plumbing project! Super knowledgeable man and very kind! All of the technicians I’ve worked with Hoover over the past 5 years have been exceptional!

Kyle came and gave me an estimate on installing a gas line. Unfortunately, I couldn't do the job at this time. He was courteous about it and said that Hoover understood. Check up on furnace

Tristan did a wonderful job. He explained and went over everything he did.

We called Hoover for an electrical issue in our kitchen. We had a good experience with Tristan. He came on time , trouble shorted the problem, and fixed the outlet.

Matthew was very knowledgeable and professional in explaining my situation to me concerning the water in my basement.

when i called i was able to get a tech (matt b.) out the next morning, he quickly replaced my outdoor plugged & all is well. $400 for one outlet replacement is crazy but i expected that calling out a corporate type company, unfortunately no one else could get out to our house in time so we paid it.

Well informed expert. He was very patient with all of our questions and helped us plan for more projects in the future.

Work was good, same day service was good, but very expensive. 738.00 for basic garbage disposal hook-up, still reeling from that.

As newer residents in Macomb, we've had to find our way without knowing any service vendors. We're So Grateful we called Hoover when we had a partial power outage, and it occurred during the holidays - No Problem for Hoover! They sent Brendan, a highly knowledgeable electrician, who discovered the source of the problem, and replaced it all in an hour on New Year's Eve. Hoover has excellent dispatching response times and an extensive year-long warranty that provides for several annual inspections of everything from the drainsto the AC and furnace, flush of the hot water heater, etc. We're very happy to highly recommend Hoover!

My experience with Eric and Hoover Electric, Plumbing, Heating & Cooling was excellent. He addressed the necessary repairs and completed a thorough safety inspection that was included with the service call. While there are a few additional items that need attention, there was no pressure to have them fixed immediately since they were not major safety concerns. Eric Wedin was knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to work with. I will definitely be having them return and would highly recommend them for any electrical needs.

Ryan came for a burning smell in the home, I was worried it was the furnace. He did a thorough examination and determined the furnace was safe but did find issues from the installation that was done by a different company. He took the time to explain what the issue was and why it needed to be corrected. I truly appreciated the instructional and professionalism of the technician. Hoover Plumbing took care of my shower drain, which has been draining slow for awhile. John quickly cleared the drain and offered a VIP Membership. I elected to pay for the one year membership.

John is the best out there when it comes to boilers. He’s so knowledgeable in all aspects of the equipment. He brought my old boiler back to life right before the holidays. He’s also very respectful of my property. He’s extremely professional, insightful, prompt, answers every question meticulously, educated me on the boiler health; and just knows what he’s talking about and his business. I highly recommend him and Hoover!

We had a great experience with our plumbing inspection today with Hoover. Justin was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He took the time to walk me through everything he found, and explained what was an issue and what wasn’t, so I fully understood the situation and felt comfortable moving forward. He never made me feel rushed or pressured, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend Justin and the Hoover team!

John went above and beyond And found the problem instantly with our heater I feel like he didn’t have to do what he did, but he did and put us in a better situation 🙂

Excellent quick service

Electrician arrived super quickly! He was very knowledgeable with all of my questions (which was a lot) and fixed another thing quickly. Inexpensive based on other places. Definitely a recommended service!

Matthew was a super nice guy, and was able to quickly get my clogged sink working again. No charge since the service call was part of our plan.

The technician Greg Dugan did a great job in performing the whole house electrical checkup service and he was very professional in providing the suggestions for future maintenance of the whole system.

Blake was a nice guy but at the end of the day our humidifer was not fixed. He said something was plugged into the wrong terminal and was just a minor electrical issue. Ended up paying $267 for less than an hours worth of work and based on the pictures was just switching a plug. He mentioned the solenoid (a $50 part) potentially needed to be replaced and that would raise the total to $750. If someone can help me figure out why swapping out a $50 part that takes 25 mins cost $750… I would love to understand. I bought a new solenoid and swapped it out in under 30 mins. Humidifer still does not work. So what did my $267 pay for exactly? The tech assured me it was just electrical, the. It turned into needing a new solenoid. Did both of those and still don’t have a working humidifier when it’s 5 degrees outside Not satisfied with my service at all.

I was at a loss with no hot water and no answers to resolve this problem. Then the stars aligned and I called Hoover for help. In swooped their dream team just in time. Dorian,his supervisor, and Brendan.put their knowledge and expertise together and diagnosed my problem! Tom at DTE even stepped up to help. End of story : We have Hot Water!!!!!! They came to my rescue right away, on this cold winter day. THANKS to all at Hoover!

Our technician, Jack Quartuccio, arrived on time and immediately checked out our complaint that our upstairs tub was not draining. He quickly found the problem and got things draining right away. He was very professional and courteous. I will use Hoover again if this is the kind of expert service I can count on.

John Parsons was amazing. Very quickly figured out the problem with my furnace. We had not been getting heat from our brand new furnace. Turns out the install crew didnt check the thermostat to make sure it was a 2 stage like the furnace and also reduced the gas pressure to around 1/4 of what it should have been. So unless these 2 issues were addressed, we would have never gotten heat from the furnace. John was here about an hour and was honest and forthright about the problem and had it fixed quickly. We were also not charged the emergency call fee. My house is now comfortable and warm for the first time this season. Thanks a million, John. You were a lifesaver.

Melissa was knowledgeable, personable, and had a thorough knowledge about our furnaces. She performed many tests on our 12 year old Goodman furnace. Our second furnace services an addition to our home well before we moved in 10 years ago. It had rusting and a perforation on its vent pipes. Melissa and Evan did a great job rerouting and replacing the pipes.

Great work. On time and out in a timely manner

Very quick emergency response. I got home to no heat - house at 48 and outside temperature going down to 10 degrees. They had John out to my house that night. I particularly appreciated that I was able to talk to a real person. Many of the other companies had an AI answering service … I want a real person when I’m in trouble!
