I had them out, and although the blockage took a more extensive job to remove, I was very pleased with the professionalism of the plumbers. They explained my options and didn't push me to go for the most expensive option first. We worked our way up, and although my sewer blockage was nasty, they got it as quickly as possible without delays. The office staff was invaluable, and the price was satisfactory. Higher than I wanted but lower than expected. This is the first plumber I would recommend without hesitation.

My experience with working with Jared, who came up to My Home was exceptional. He’s very professional very knowledgeable. Also, when calling into the office, I’ve had nothing but a positive interactions with the employees that were assisting me on telephone calls.

I just had Hoover come out to fix an issue I was having with the pressure in my shower. The technician, AJ Demasellis, quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. This is the second time I've used Hoover for an issue in my home and each time I've received great service from techs who were friendly and efficient. I'm not hoping for anymore issues with my house that I can't fix myself, but if another arises I'll definitely call Hoover to handle it.

Very professional. Was satisfied with the job. He replaced the two switches in the basement. He also checked out the electrical panel. And the switches to the ceiling fan in the living room.

My elderly brother had no hot water on Thanksgiving, and when I called a couple of plumbing companies the next day, they were not able to send someone out until the following week. However, Hoover sent Dorian out within an hour or so and he fixed the problem in minutes for under $100. My brother was planning to drive to Menard’s to purchase a new water heater, which he ultimately didn’t need. I spoke to a very pleasant and understanding woman on the phone, and I highly recommend this company!

David Dunlap arrived for our annual heater inspection within the (8-10am) window. Very professional and courteous; wore shoe covers, asked for the location of the thermostats and boiler, and took it from there! I got a detailed report of his findings and we are good to go. I didn’t include the price because the inspection is included with our annual membership.

My grandson flushed Legos down the toilet and they got lodged in there causing it to back up. I called Hoover plumbing and Tyler came to fix the problem. Tyler walked us through step by step and kept us informed of the costs before proceeding . He retrieved the legos and cleared the line quickly. I will never call another plumbing company! He also gave us information about Hoover's affordable V.I.P. club that we will be joining. Tyler even left a video for my grandson, at my daughter's request, telling him to "never flush anything that doesn't come out of your body." Great experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a good experience with Wesley. He took his time doing my plumbing inspection, pointed out areas that may become a concern (rust on galvanized pipe), and answered all questions to my satisfaction.

We hired Hoover to replace our central air conditioner in the summer. They did a great job! They unit is very efficient and quiet.

What started out as a request to unclog a toilet became a leak repair and drain inspection, cleaning and jetting out with “The Raptor.” It was something I hadn’t planned, but decided after the first guys came out, to add the secondary services. One unplanned service was to reroute the sink drain to avoid an original pipe that was buried in a wall to a new branch that was added to the drain stack in the basement.

Techs were very knowledgeable.

We always use Hoover Electric for our heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical needs. They have reasonable prices and do excellent work.

Hoover was available the next day and Danny was efficient and proficient in changing out the old copper shut off valve and installing a new one to our refrigerator.

He did a wonderful job in removing the water back up in basement floor drain. Very professional and courteous. I would recommend him to anyone.

Chris showed and explained the problems with my furnace. He took the time to give me the options because my heat exchanger was cracked. So I can either repair or replace the furnace. He was bery thorough.

We had a gushing boiler leak and we called Hoover pretty early in the morning. Mackenzie picked up right away and she was so professional and completely understood the urgency. It immediately put us at ease. We were so surprised and happy that someone was there for emergencies. They sent someone very quickly who said he wasn’t the boiler expert, but he could patch it up so it stops leaking until David Dunlap arrived. David arrived shortly after and fixed it completely and got us the part we needed. The whole fix was completed by the very next day. We were very impressed with his professionalism, speed, and effectiveness. On another occasion, David found the source of an attic leak and we were then able to show our contractor where to fix it since it was not in an area that Hoover services. I have many more examples, too many to list. David consistently goes above and beyond and has basically become a hero in this household. From their impeccable notes to their front-desk professionals, Hoover is a class act. They honor their warranties and I suggest signing up for their VIP service, especially if you live in an older home.

Matt B. was great! He checked wiring for our outlets and did a safety check on our breaker box. He was also able to quickly replace our hard wired fire detector with a fire / carbon monoxide combo detector. Matt was very helpful and personable.

My Plumber Dave G. and his assistant today were the most professional plumbers I have ever hired. Dave's years of experience is evidenced by his knowledge which he shared with me to help in my decision making process regarding replacing a copper pipe (not up to code) with an up to date steel piping connection to my refrigerator ice maker water source. Also, Dishwasher installs are difficult. I know because I could not find any plumbers who were confident enough to take it on. Dave removed my old dishwasher and installed my new one and everything is in tip top shape now.

From start to finish I'm very happy with Hoover. From calling the office to schedule to the Maintenance specialist who can out to address the issue with my furnace. Taylen was excellent. Showed up when he said he would so I didn't have to miss too much work. He was kind and kept me informed with the diagnosising issues with my furnace. I had a total hip replacement just a few weeks ago so it is critical to have hot water to keep my incision clean to prevent infection. Im on a walker and I’m not able to carry pots of boiled water , Chris was very compassionate about my needs and he made sure my water tank was fixed and I had hot water before he left here. Chris wasn’t only concerned about my repair today , he also explained to me condition of my 12 year old water tank, he also gave me a fair estimate of a new one and a maintenance plan as well . I most definitely would consider Hoover electric plumbing heating and cooling! These guys were so nice and concerned with my every thought and concern! Chris came in the morning to give it a diagnosis and Brennon and his partner were just as nice! If I could give them all more than five stars, I most definitely would! This a fast and complete company that will get you done and I’m smelling bleach so they cleaned my laundry room to a T after they installed my hot water tank! What great guys!
