Today, I had electrician Aron Foster give an estimate for replacing my parents outdated fuse box. Aron greeted me almost as if we were friends. He was gracious and immediately took on the task of giving me an estimate. Aron was very thorough and clearly knew his craft well. He explained everything to me in ways that I could understand. He offered a cost, plans and a warranty that are fairly priced for the job. Aron gave me confidence in considering using Hoover.

I needed a gas line update to accommodate a new gas dryer and a leaky pipe repair. Kyle was great! He checked everything, explained everything and quoted a very reasonable price. The work was done the same day by technicians Steve and Alex. I would definitely recommend.

Hoover and Aaron Fedewa were awesome to work with. We had a major plumbing issue that required emergency same day service and Aaron came as soon as he could. He was helpful, nice, comprehensive and capable of explaining the issues and solutions. Cost was reasonable and issue was resolved same day. 5 stars would recommend Hoover!

AJ is very knowledgeable and explained all the work to be done that made sense. 12/05/24 Once again Hoover came to my rescue by sending Mike Fitzpatrick out to clean my drain and also run a camera through to check for any damage. He did a great job and was very clean, only took an hour total! I will never use any other company. I’ve used many and they always do the best work.

Brennan did a great job for us today replacing corroded fixtures in my shower. Took care with the job , cleaned up and even put in an access panel instead of just leaving a hole in my drywall when I had a bad pipe in my shower. Very pleased!

Someone came out same day, worked through my options for the repair and was quick and friendly. The whole process was very easy and the most affordable of all the places I called. Highly Recommend!

David Dunlap was very efficient, knowledgeable, and prompt. He serviced our furnace and boiler and explained everything to us showing us picture evidence of all issues of concern. We will be requesting services from him again in the future.

I would never use Hoover electric I had to tuneup schedule at 11 AM and they tell my Wife furnace not working $4000 repair cost second opinion check out my furnace working 100% . $49 tuneup turned to Service call so he charges $149 I didn’t I didn’t need to pay. I just wanted to tuneup simple work.

Hoover was responsive and got my water heater replaced within 24 hours. Wesley was fantastic. Polite and knowledgeable.

Hoover has always done great work. Very efficient, and they are good at explaining how a problem occurred and what they did to repair it. David Dunlap was very knowledgeable and professional. The office staff is also prompt and courteous whenever I call. Definitely recommend. Additionally, in October I had Cameron Kitchen and Dee Algahmi out to repair several gas leaks as well as a new gas line to my dryer. They were very thorough in explaining the work being done as well as professional and prompt. Great job, once again!

John was incredibly friendly and took his time in explaining what was going on. He was detailed and made sure to ask if I had any questions or needed any further clarification. He also went over various options to choose from including financing options.

Plumbing system inspection.

Hoover is a very reliable name and they sent out Cameron who inspected my furnace. He showed me pictures of a problem and told me what to do to get it fixed. He was friendly and easy to speak to.

Aaron was extremely helpful, taught me a little bit, and was understanding and generous!

As far as service calls go, this was simply excellent. Dalton was friendly, professional and communicated his diagnosis and suggested plan for success. Thank you.

Very professional and thorough. Dee Algahmi kept me informed all throughout the installation process. Highly recommend!

First, Brendan came to my house. I needed to replace a wire and outlet to plug my electric stove. Brendan inspected the work that needed to be done. Brendan was very polite and explained what needed to be done and told me what my options were and what they would cost. He never tryed to push anything extra. Just what was needed. Second, Ben and Mac came to my house to make the changes. Both Ben and Mac were very polite and explained everything they were doing before they started working. When everything was done they cleaned up the area where they were working. I am glad I called Hoover and I will recommend Hoover to everyone.

We had a good experience overall. Our technician Eric was efficient and got the job done that we requested. Before he started the work, though, he said he needed to do a "safety inspection" of the house, which took almost an hour; he shared some interesting additional work we could do, but nothing that was urgent or was anything we had asked for. Once he got to the job at hand, though, it went quickly and efficiently. The price seemed a bit high, but the manager at Hoover worked with us to bring the price down afterwards, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, a good experience!

I had an electrical issue where the lights in some rooms went off all of a sudden. Someone from DTE came to take a look at the issue and asked me to contact an electrician. I reached out to Hoover and Jared was sent to help with the issue. Jared was extremely methodical in his approach of finding the root cause for the problem and replacing the wiring which had been damaged. He also explained his work flow clearly and got the power restored in the rooms as quick as possible. Highly recommend!

This visit was part of our VIP maintenance plan, with no real issues. John did a good inspection and suggested several items that needed addressing and a few others that were much more cosmetic. He is a good salesperson. He completed one of the necessary repairs on our A/C.

They were able to come out same day for a non-emergent problem. Jeff was great. Very knowledgeable and diagnosed our problem quickly. He was also great with my little kiddos and let my 4 year old “help” when he could! You never want to need a new water softener, but the experience was good for what it was.

Dalton and Caden were awesome. Both were knowledgeable, patient and thorough. Cost to replace a GFCI was reasonable based on the amount of time spent researching the problem and completing a safety check of our entire electrical system. While they were here I asked for an estimate to replace our HVAC system which came in significantly higher than other estimates we’ve had so we will not proceed with that project however I would still recommend Hoover, especially Caden and Dalton, based on their work today

Aaron went above and beyond in helping me select the right sump pump battery replacement and making sure the installation was done correctly. The same-day service was a huge help during a busy week. While discussing my home, Aaron also offered additional gas line and electrical services Hoover provides. It’s clear Hoover is a one-stop shop for heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical needs. With employees like Aaron who truly understand customer service, I’ll gladly continue to use them for future projects.

We have had plumbing work and a new hot water tank put in by them. Very nice and thorough. Had a few hiccups, but they took care of it quickly and efficiently. Today we had a furnace inspection by Jordan and he was fantastic. Very personable, polite, and knowledgeable.

Kyle came and gave me an estimate on installing a gas line. Unfortunately, I couldn't do the job at this time. He was courteous about it and said that Hoover understood. We always use Hoover Electric for our heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical needs. They have reasonable prices and do excellent work.

Jared came out today and installed an outdoor outlet for me. As usual, he did a fantastic job. All the electrical work I have had done with Hoover in the recent months, Jared has done everything. I have a program through Hoover that provides yearly evaluations of my AC/Furnace, plumbing and electrical. This, I feel, is an exceptional program and has been very helpful for me many times. It has been a benefit for me as it takes the worry and concern away for household maintenance needs and provides staff who are knowledgable to assist in the care of my home. Jordan came today to evaluate my furnace which has been giving me problems. Jordan was very polite, professional, effecient and helpful! Excellent rapid response Professional and experienced

WOW!! Danny was super knowledgeable and helpful. He found a hard to notice issue with our furnace, cost nothing to fix, but saved our new furnace. He not only confirmed we needed a new water heater (to replace our 16 year old one which was leaking), but he took the time to take pictures and video from inside the water heater so we could understand where it was crumbling apart from rust and old age. PRICELESS SERVICE!!

David was polite, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. After doing a run thru he showed me the photos of his diagnostic tests. He recommended 2 things to fix and did not pressure me at all. I’d highly recommend him and Hoover.

The Hoover Plumbing team of three, led by Dustin, including Dominic and Anthony completed the floor breakout in my basement to replace a failed cast iron pipe. They all worked diligently to finish the job in around 6 hours. I was very pleased with the final look of the repair and would definitely recommend them for future work.

Ryan came out to do annual maintenance on our furnace and air conditioner. Our furnace checked out fine outside of a dirty filter. Our air conditioner is older and needed a good cleaning. Ryan was very knowledgeable and explained in detail what needed to be done to bring the a/c up to good working condition. This included doing an acid wash. He was pleasant and professional. We needed to have our bathroom electrical outlet replaced, as well as our two outdoor sensor lights having issues. Dalton arrived with his fellow tech and proceeded to inspect the issues. He did need to replace the bathroom outlet which required running a diagnostic test. He inspected the outdoor sensor lights, taking pictures of the wiring and sending them to the tech who had installed them and who will take care of replacing/repairing them. Dalton was very willing to answer our questions and work toward getting our issues resolved. Your techs are always so pleasant and willing to help us get problems taken care of. We appreciate knowing we can trust Hoover!! We are VIP customers and glad of it!!

From Matt Wilcox (the sales team) all the way to the installation. I did have lesser quotes, but Hoover won me over.
