I am absolutely ecstatic about the service I got from Shane and Aron from Hoover. After getting no timely response / respect from two previous electric companies I called, Hoover came out the next day to install a transfer switch and other assorted parts. One day! Their price was very competitive with the one quote received, the difference being they actually came out and performed the service. The small companies are a bit cheaper, but they put you off forever, with no apology at all. Shane and Aron were extremely kind with me, let me watch and ask questions during the process. At my request, they stayed and the explained how everything is to be properly operated (a mini-training) before leaving. I cannot overstate how pleased with them and Hoover. 10/28/2023 New Review I needed a redo on the electrical outlet from the prior installation. Hoover sent out a technician the very next day. He properly diagnosed the problem and installed a different outlet which addressed the problem. It was covered under under guarantee, but my Hoover membership would cover anything else. I like Hoover's responsiveness to it's customers. Update 12/08/25: I had Hoover do a routine furnace inspection today. It found and documented a crack in the heat exchanger, which is a serious problem. Chris, their technician did an excellent job, and I am appreciative of his expertise. Furnace needs replacement, yes, but we have been spared from the danger of carbon monoxide exposure heading into a severe winter and high furnace use.
